FMO-GM representatives met with officials from the GM Combined Authority to explore how Muslim organisations and individuals could better engage with the GMCA and in particular get involved in the different bodies and committees that constitute the work of the GMCA.
Everyone attending agreed that a Greater Manchester that was able to utilise the skills and energy of the diverse Muslim communities across GM, would help make a stronger, more equitable and productive city.
