On Sunday 12th April, Forum of Muslim Organisations (Greater Manchester) organised a well attended conference on:
- The Far Right and Local Elections
- Networking, collaborating and discussing how to strengthen our projects
The atmosphere was searching, illuminating, concerned and friendly.
The talks were excellent, discussions were insightful and dinner was delicious.
Each speaker presented an extremely well researched case for why we must be concerned, politically literate and engaged, as the far right mobilises, for the social benefit of all.
We will only be as strong as our members and affiliates.
It is high time for unity and collaboration.
Watch this space for our next event and do get involved.
